With the theme of ‘Digital Chain Era, Green Future’, the 10th Shanghai Fair has set up five exhibition areas, namely, Theme Pavilion, Energy and Low Carbon Technology, Digital Technology, Biomedical Technology, Innovation Ecology and Services, with a total exhibition area of 35,000 square metres, bringing together innovative achievements from 10 countries and regions around the world as well as 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country.

On the morning of 12 June, the 10th China (Shanghai) International Technology Import and Export Fair (referred to as the ‘Fair’) opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, and other leaders toured the exhibition hall and went to the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce ‘Private Enterprises in Innovation’ themed exhibition area, listened to the overall situation of the exhibition, and interacted with the private enterprises in the exhibition area. In the afternoon, Zhang Xiaohong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, visited the exhibition area and learnt about the enterprises. Yang Xi, member of the party group and vice-chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the opening ceremony and participated in related activities. Guests from international organisations, provincial offices in Shanghai, the Municipal Commission of Commerce and the VIP delegation of the General Assembly visited the FICCI exhibition area.
