The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957. Held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, it is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre. It is currently China’s longest-running, largest, and most comprehensive international trade fair, featuring the widest variety of products, the highest number of attending buyers from the most diverse range of countries and regions, and the best trading results and reputation.
The total exhibition area covers 1.55 million square meters, with around 74,000 booths and approximately 31,000 participating enterprises. Among them, nearly 73,000 booths are dedicated to the export section, with the number of participating enterprises surpassing 30,000 for the first time—an increase of nearly 900 compared to the previous session. The import section includes about 1,600 booths, featuring 736 enterprises from 50 countries and regions.
